I would like to thank all the early voters that have reached out to me and thanked me for giving them a choice…
Dear Jefferson County Residents,
I would to thank all the early voters that have reached out to me and thanked me for giving them a choice. For those voting on the 5th, please review the facts before placing your vote in the general election.
A review of my platform is as follows: re-establish emergency services by utilizing the volunteer fire companies’ longevity of experience, dedication and foresight to house and maintain the equipment and training necessary to be prepared and act within a moment’s notice, regardless of the need or political preference.
The Comprehensive plan for 2045 should be placed in a referendum and voted on by the public.
Commercial Solar should have been put on a referendum as well, and since it wasn’t, all permits for solar facilities should be placed on hold and reviewed for legalities.
The current County Commission has ignored their fiduciary responsible to ensure adequate utilities prior to issuing building permits. Impact Fees were improperly lowered by the current County Commission and needs to be challenge by the resident/taxpayers before allowing any further building permits.
I was fortunate to grow up in a time when our history and preservation of the land, that we have been entrusted with, had value above any single personal financial gain.
With all that I have stated within my platform, I hope everyone has realized that the only “special interest” is the resident/taxpayers in Jefferson County.
Thank you for all of the support.
