Your property and homeowner’s insurance will be costing you a lot more…
Dear Jefferson County Residents,
I, David Tabb, would like to share some additional facts and information including a photo. With the current status of the Emergency Services in Jefferson County your property and homeowner’s insurance will be costing you a lot more. Your insurance rates are based on the number of emergency facilities, equipment, and water resources.
Over the last two years, with the ambulance take-over that defunded the volunteer fire companies, it has become clear that the county wasn’t going to have adequate emergency services to take care of our existing population, homes and infrastructures. The Commission has allowed some three to five thousand added homes to be built along with the solar farms. This will be placing additional burdens on the county’s limited resources. This will result in a high deductible and an increase in premium on your property and homeowner’s insurance. I encourage you to contact your insurance company to learn more.
The defunding of the volunteer fire companies has resulted in the abuse of the mutual aid agreements with Loudoun, Clarke, Washington, Frederick and Berkeley counties to include the VA Center’s emergency services.
I have no trust in the ability of the Jefferson County Commission to address the increase of need for emergency services in which the volunteer fire companies protected everyone with no appreciation of their past accomplishments.
Before you vote, I would encourage you to review the candidate’s credentials and resources to address Jefferson County’s emergency services. Your life and property may depend on it.
I have attached a photo that will show how much trust I have with the current County Commission.
